Activist on parent's board could give HUL a new growth lever

The stock of Unilever Plc surged 9% on the news of Nelson Peltz of Trian Fund Management, one of the largest shareholders of the global consumer major, being appointed as a non-executive director on the board as well as a member of the compensation committee.
