COVID-19 impact: Life insurers may need to shore up provisions in FY22 There is a steady rise in COVID-19 deaths in FY22. Following this, death claims may rise across life insurers. Motilal Oswal Financial Services report says HDC Life, SBI Life and ICICI Prudential Life would need to shore up provisioning buffers.
