Nearly half of Toyota’s volumes are safe from factory lockout

Nearly half of Toyota’s volumes are safe from factory lockout With a section of employees going on strike, production has been affected at Toyota’s two plants. Fifty production is outsourced to Suzuki Motor Corp and Maruti Suzuki. Toyota’s plants have the capacity to produce 310,000 units a year, but were operating at 25 percent by the end of October.
