Aviation insurance losses touch an all-time high as claims hit Rs 3,700 crore According to sources, 2014-2020 has been the worst six years for the aviation insurance segment. The recent Air India Express crash in Kerala resulted in an insurance loss of $89 million, one of the highest claims in the industry. As claims increase, insurers will increase premium rates.
