Rupee recoups 52 paise to end at 70.72 per dollar

At the Interbank Foreign Exchange (forex) market, the domestic unit opened slightly up at 71.22. It rose to an intra-day high of 70.70, before finally ending at 70.72, showing a gain of 52 paise.
